The Torch

I’m actually stumped with this one. Why on earth would Nan need a torch when she was being cared for so well at her nursing home?!

Apart from obvious power cuts, I’m now imagining her sneakily reading under her covers, maybe escaping out her window late at night and singing to the resident moths, possibly even trekking down to some nearby water and shining it’s light in to the depths below. Who knows?
